Startup In The Hills With Catalyst
IIT Mandi Catalyst offers a low-cost, tranquil, and high-tech venue for early stage entrepreneurs to grow in, away from the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced life, pollution, excessively long commutes, and other big-city complexities.
Essentially, we assist early-stage entrepreneurs in transforming their ideas from concept to commercialization. By providing low-cost work spaces, solid technical infrastructure, and coaching, we contribute significant value to companies during the ideation and product development phases. In addition to this, we assist entrepreneurs who aim to solve global challenges, with a special focus on firms from the Himalayan region. We have a soft spot for social impact startups as well. Open to all budding startups and innovators from across the country, we invite you to leverage the support provided by Catalyst and Startup in Hills!
Thinking of Applying For Support?
Of the 1200+ startup applications we have received in the last five years, we have fully assisted 200+ startups. 40% of all the startups we have supported are from Himachal Pradesh and 30% of them are aimed at building solutions for issues in the Himalayan region itself.
With that said, we are also sector agnostic and welcome ideas from all walks of life with a particular preference towards products that are best built in our unique environment and with the available expertise. A majority of the ideas that we have supported are in the domains of:
Agriculture, Biotech, Healthcare, Clean Energy, Waste Management, Enterprise Solutions, Education, Disaster Management & Road Safety, Travel, and Consumer Internet.
